Connect Propensa to Claude or ChatGPT

What you need

• A Propensa account you can log in to.
• An AI assistant that supports custom connectors — Claude (web or desktop) and ChatGPT both do.

You do not need an API key, a developer account, or anything installed.

The connection URL

Copy this. It is the only value you will be asked for:

1. Open Settings → Connectors.
2. Click Add custom connector.
3. Paste the URL above and confirm.
4. A Propensa sign-in window opens. Log in as you normally would, then review the permissions and approve.

That is the whole setup. Claude registers itself automatically — there are no client IDs or secrets to copy.

Connecting in ChatGPT

The flow is the same: add a custom connector, paste the URL, and complete the Propensa sign-in when prompted.

Try it — start with these

Once connected, ask questions in plain language. Good first prompts, which only read data:

• “Who am I connected as?”
• “List my active properties.”
• “What is the status of the Riverside deal?”
• “Show me the locations we are tracking for my largest client.”
• “What milestones are coming up in the next 30 days?”

Then try one that writes something back:

• “Add a comment to the Riverside deal: "Toured with the tenant today, they want to see the back suite again."”
• “Log a call on that prospect dated yesterday.”

Comments logged this way appear on the deal exactly as if you had typed them in Propensa, and they show up in your activity reports.

What it can and cannot reach

A connected assistant acts as you. It sees the properties, clients, and deals you already work on, and nothing else — it cannot reach records belonging to brokers you do not work with.

When you approve the connection you grant specific permissions:

• Read — properties, clients, deals, contacts, comments
• Read financials — commissions and income figures
• Read documents — attachments and links
• Write comments — log calls, tours, and notes
• Write deals — create and update records and milestones
• Write financials — enter commission data
• Write documents — attach files and links

Every tool is labelled read-only or write, so your assistant can tell you which it is about to use before it acts.

Before you connect

When you ask your assistant about a deal, it retrieves that data from Propensa and sends it to its own provider to process. That data is then handled under that provider’s privacy terms, not ours. If your firm works under confidentiality obligations, review those terms first, and only connect assistants you trust. Our Privacy Policy covers this in section 6.

Disconnecting

Remove the connector from your AI assistant’s settings, or revoke it from your Propensa profile. Either takes effect immediately.
